flowers growing in the cracks

i have really great friends
i dont acknowledge that enough
we hang out every friday but this friday i needed to go to the american apparel open call
was gonna go alone but the said they would tag along
we went to belmont army to stop by and grab some shoes
and with the "amazing" fashion sense they have i ended up buying these orange square-toe clear heeled shoes
it was risky.

nino stopped at a guitar store with my bag and shoes and me noah headed to the super long line

i forgot to print out my resume

running back in the crazy shoes
my heel broke
i fell on my ass
cracked my phone
and everyone in line saw.
reallllll cute.

the guitar store guy was really cool and let me print out my resume on his computer and then kicked us out


i ended up waiting in line behind destiny the famous american apparel beauty and became friends with her!!
i told nino and paps to leave and get food and get warm
but thirty minutes later they came back with alex gorman (who is now a hobo)
again leaving and returning they brought back harrish (who was completely stoned)
finally coming back with a whole pizza
we ate in line
they kept coming back to make sure i was okay and warm and confident for the interview


WHICH NEVER HAPPENED
we ended up just turning in our resume
and leaving
stupid aa
but whatever
my friends made the day completely worth it

I laid in bed all morning staring at my window
but it stares at a brick wall
and that exactly how i feel about

Today was the birthday of Nino Lenzini, one of the greatest guys ive ever met.
We took the train with a field trip of mexican kids (who've mastered snorting coke subtly)
We got off and walked a good mile (w/o stopping for food) to the arcade

The arcade in the back of record shop was closed but we still spent a good 2 hours in there just looking around 

Bear Enthusiast Pin and a cute 99¢ circle ring (that Nino stole)

Walking all the way back through Wicker Park to Piece Pizza we stopped for fries which we then tried catching with our mouths. The fact that i can act like a complete fool around and with these people make my life.
We also stopped at a food and liquor store to buy cookies and extremely hard gum and skittles for Ethan. Ethan had to pee for a very long time.

   

There was an hour long wait at Piece so we went to the guitar shop
Its amazing how after just 10 minutes everyone was invested with something including Ethan and his vintage rainstick.



We ended up going to a different restaurant were we downed two giant pepperoni pizzas

a guy threw a gang sign
some guy played along and hugged Nino through the window
a woman contemplated the question then decided she was not his father
the indian and chinese man were pretty concerned

there was also a cute little kid behind us who seemed to be getting in trouble because of Nino and i playing along with him

Today was perfect.
